Pub chain provides £2 pints however some lager lovers left luckier than others

With the best part of summer behind us, anything to cheer(s) about is a win in our book.

So imagine our excitement at discovering a UK pub chain will be slashing prices on popular beers not just for one day, but an entire fortnight.

Across the country, from now until September 18, Wetherspoon won’t be the only pub chain giving back plenty of change for a fiver when serving up a pint. The good folks at Greene King have decided to treat us thirsty lager-lovers at more than 700 of their boozers nationwide.

Why? Well because it’s the end of summer, of course. Just don’t stroll into your local expecting to make a jaw-dropping saving on a pricy pint of Level Head or Ice Breaker.

Each selected pub will be offering a £2 pint of either Amstel, Carlsberg, Carling, Fosters and Tennent’s. Cue the celebrations for everyone whose favourite pub is pouring the former for a couple of quid.

According to a complete list of the pubs getting involved and their selected £2 beer, a couple of boozers are slashing the price of some seriously elite lagers for the promotion.

Namely the Anchor Hotel in Horsham, West Sussex where customers can swig a pint of Estrella Damm for just £2. At the World’s End in Edinburgh, it’s Innis & Gunn Lager and going even further north West 4 Lager will be sold for £2 at Molly Malones.

Pravha fans of Bromham, Bedfordshire may want to pop by the Swan.

There is one notable gap in the map of participating pubs, however, but it’s hardly surprising London drinkers are losing out. With the average price of a pint in the capital significantly higher than elsewhere in the country, that really would have been too good to be true.

The offer is available in 708 pubs nationwide, between 4th – 18th September, the choice of beverage is based on individual pubs – visit your local pub, with photo ID, to find out which product is included in the offer.

Pint choice differs between individual pubs. Only one of the following products will be available in the offer per pub; Amstel, Carlsberg, Fosters, Flint Eye, Pravha, Tennent’s, Carling, Coors Light, Innis & Gunn, Estrella, West 4 Lager.
