The best things about the autumn months are the walks, colourful foliage and comfort food, according to a poll.
While many enjoy the crisp air (26%) and nights in watching their favourite TV shows (24 %).
Cosy blankets (23%), snuggling up on the sofa (21%) and wearing winter knits and jumpers (16%) also rank among the best cosy autumn activities.

According to the study of 2,000 adults, autumn is officially ‘cosy season’ for 30%, while 46% associate it with the winter.
The research was commissioned by Procter & Gamble, which has worked with cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, to release a new limited-edition collection ‘‘Mrs Hinch’s Cosy Season’’.
Spokesperson, Ayca Turgay, said: “There’s a lot to love about the changing of the seasons.
“Whether it’s the change in weather, the beautiful scenery or a chance to catch your breath after a hectic summer, autumn gives us the chance to reset for the remainder of the year, and the opportunity to reset our home into a clean, tidy and cosy haven.”
The research also revealed the top activities people love to do to get cosy, including nights in at home (46%), snuggling down (39%) and getting the blankets out of storage (34%).
While 57% reckon they make fewer plans during the autumn than the summer months.
With 55%claiming one of the best things about autumn was getting to stay indoors more.
Our partners (43%) are the people we most want to spend time with, ahead of their wider family (18%).
But one in 10 love enjoying a night in to themselves.
When it comes to smells, food and beverages, the overwhelming go-to autumn drink is hot chocolate (37%), ahead of coffee (16 per cent) and mulled wine (7%).
Ayca Turgay, of Procter & Gamble, which has released Mrs Hinch’s Cosy Season collection across its Bold, Lenor, Fairy, Flash and Febreze range, added: “Most of us are spending more time indoors, so it’s important we make our homes a comfortable sanctuary.”
