Never-before-seen footage exhibits far-right thugs throwing missiles
Newly-released footage shows far-right yobs bringing chaos to the streets of Greater Manchester last month – as police release photos of more people wanted over the violence.
In Newton Heath, bricks and bottles were hurled at police as dozens gathered outside a hotel housing asylum seekers.
The thugs were also caught on camera smashing the windscreen of a bus and trying to kick in the doors.
One clip shows a bare-chested man launching a missile at riot police, while another shows a woman hurling abuse at the officers.
CCTV taken from inside a north Manchester pub also captured the moment several young men, suspected of taking part in the violence, appeared to high-five and congratulate each as they stand around a pool table.

And in Manchester city centre video shows how a plank of wood and a flare were launched as protesters and police clashed in Piccadilly Gardens, while several men can be seen trying to kick down the doors of a vape shop on Mosley Street.
It’s now been a month since a wave of far-right and anti-immigration violence erupted on the streets of Greater Manchester and across the UK following the murders of three young girls in Southport.
Since then Greater Manchester Police have made 122 arrests leading to 102 charges and 60 convictions.
On Thursday detectives launched another public appeal for information, releasing 18 photos of people they would like to speak in connection with the disorder.
One of the people included in the appeal is a woman wearing a yellow cocktail dress – as police warned ‘we are not done yet’.
Detective Chief Insp Jill Billington, of Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Crime Division, said: ‘The criminal disorder we saw in areas of Greater Manchester a month ago was shocking and struck fear right in the heart of our communities.

‘Since then, we’ve worked through thousands of hours of video footage to identify and bring to justice violent individuals who assaulted police officers, members of the public, and damaged the property of local businesses, police, and people just going about their daily lives.
‘Your help has seen more than 180 reports of information submitted to us which has helped identify 124 suspects.
‘Many have been convicted in court and are now serving long prison sentences. Your help in achieving this swift justice has no doubt helped stop this disorder escalating.
‘There are still some people out there who haven’t yet received a knock on the door from us, and we’d like to speak to them about the disorder.
‘Many of our suspects may have been through court, but we’re not done yet.
‘If you recognise any of these people then please get in touch and help ensure all those involved are brought to justice.’
