Overall a quarter of pub goers – 25% – said they have been stung by pals who don’t get their round in. Bingo site WhichBingo asked 1,000 UK adults which friends fail to buy their rounds and what their main characteristics are to come up with the findings.
Spokesman Charlie Shakespeare said: “Our research is conclusive and clearly shows men with big noses are more likely than anyone else to fail to buy a round. But men of short stature are by far the most likely to stand their round and can be relied to always take their turn at the bar.
“Our advice is always make sure a friend with a big nose gets the first round in so that way he won’t get off completely Scott free.”
