Lottery winner dangers dropping £12.6million jackpot after failing to return ahead
A lottery jackpot winner who has scooped almost £13m has yet to come forward to claim their prize – a whole week after the draw.
The jackpot, some £12,626,193, was won in last Wednesday’s Must Be Won’ draw. The draw also saw seven Lotto ticket-holders match five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, meaning they all won £1m each.
Six of these lucky ticket-holders have since come forward to claim their prizes, with one of the prizes yet to be claimed. At this stage all that can be revealed is that both the missing Lotto jackpot ticket-holder and the one remaining £1M winner bought their winning tickets online.

The two lucky online ticket-holders are urged to check their emails and log into their National Lottery account and then call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 in order to make their claims.
The winning Lotto numbers on Wednesday 4 September 2024 were 03, 06, 15, 25, 29, 41 and the Bonus Ball was 17.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Imagine being a millionaire and not even knowing it. And then imagine being a Lotto jackpot-winning multi-millionaire and being unaware!
“It’s only just under a week since the amazing Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ draw, but we’re urging all Lotto players to log into their National Lottery account to see if they are one of our two missing Lotto millionaires.
“We’ve already started to support the six lucky ticket-holders who have claimed their life-changing prizes from last Wednesday’s draw, and it’s now time for our multi-millionaire and one remaining millionaire to come forward so that they can start to enjoy their amazing wins.”
Once a ticket-holder has called Allwyn and their claim has been validated and paid, the ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news.
There will be no information on whether these wins are individual or syndicate wins unless the ticket-holders decide to go public.
