‘Mary Poppins’ instructor tried to slice off boyfriend’s penis for very wild motive

A self-proclaimed “Mary Poppins” piano teacher has been thrown in the jail after she tried to slice off his manhood for refusing to have sex.

Marlena Meczynska-Shiibashi, 37, launched the savage attack on her boyfriend as he snoozed, drenching him in bleach which jolted him awake.

In the ensuing chaos, as he scrambled for his clothes in the pitch black, she plunged the blade into his thigh, just a hair’s breadth away from his privates.

The court was told how the crazed pianist quizzed police about whether she had knifed his penis, asking them “it’s in the genitals or not?” as they cuffed her at her Hastings flat in East Sussex, back in April last year.

She owned up to wounding with intent to cause serious injury at Lewes crown court on Friday, where she revealed she was actually gunning for his manhood.

Earlier that fateful night, Meczynska-Shiibashi tried to initiate sex, but her boyfriend begged “please don’t”.

He later woke up in sheer panic as she started pouring the bleach over him. The terrified man told the court he batted the bottle away, initially thinking he’d wet himself in fright, only to realise it was blood coming from a gash, reports the Mirror.

“It was only when I looked down that I could work out it was blood from a wound,” he recounted to the jury. “I then looked at her and could see she had a face absolutely full of rage and she was holding a knife. She was coming towards me with the knife.”

The scene was pure horror as the terrified man, trying to defend himself with just a cardboard box, made a desperate attempt to escape and was later found in the hallway, his body drenched in blood. He was immediately rushed to hospital for treatment of his severe injuries.

On her Facebook profile, the pianist boasts about her teaching credentials, saying: “I am a private piano teacher trained since I was 4. I charge 30 pounds per hour and am considered a ‘piano Mary Poppins’ in terms of encouraging children (and adults:-) to play.”

During her trial, Meczynska-Shiibashi claimed to be a sexual abuse survivor who was merely defending herself; however, the jury wasn’t convinced by her story and pronounced her guilty at a previous February hearing.

The final verdict came on Friday when she was handed a seven-year prison sentence, with an additional four years on licence. Additionally, she is now bound by an indefinite restraining order which strictly prevents any contact with the victim.

While handing down the sentence, Judge Laing KC, Recorder of Brighton and Hove, did not mince words: “I find you to be a liar and a very manipulative person who hides behind the story of serious abuse as an excuse to lash out a people both mentally and physically.”
