Miss World says she was ‘glad’ she did Playboy after her children discovered racy mags
Model and former Miss World Rosanna Davison has spilled the beans on her Playboy days.
She revealed how her younger brothers were “tormented” by her shoot and inundated with messages from their friends. Describing Hugh Hefner’s infamous mansion, she said it was surprisingly “cosy and homely,” a far cry from its wild reputation.
Rosanna, who made history as the first Irish woman to grace Playboy, reminisced about watching an old-school black and white flick with the late tycoon. Dublin Live reported that Rosanna found her time within Hefner’s opulent world to be unexpectedly wholesome.

She said: “It was in 2013, do you know it was cosy and homely.”
The Irish beauty revealed how she bagged an invitation to the mansion: “Because my German Playboy spread had gone into the American Playboy in 2013, Hugh Hefner invited me along.
“We had dinner, not just me and him, there was a group of people there, and we watched a black and white movie in his home cinema.”
During her snoop around the mansion, Rosanna couldn’t help but notice the racy decor, admitting, “I did have a peek around, I was very nosy. There were a few pictures of boobs on the walls, I will say that.”
Despite the cheeky artwork, Rosanna looks back on her Playboy experience fondly and shared that her family, including her now-husband Wes, were nothing but supportive.
Chatting on Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything, she opened up: “They were very encouraging, but it was my two younger brothers.
“My poor brothers were tormented by their friends texting pics and so on. My now husband Wes, we weren’t even engaged at that stage, was very encouraging.”
The mum-of-three confessed she had a secret stash of the German Playboy featuring her on the cover, which her kids ended up tearing to shreds.
She added: “I forgot they were there… thankfully they didn’t recognise me.”
Reflecting on the Celtic Tiger era, she said: “There were a couple of years when I was 21/22 when there was a lot going on.
“All the parties and the events, and Krystle [nightclub] opened around then so yeah, there was a lot of nights out. But then we all know what happened and it came to a halt.”
