Meghan Markle’s function in marriage to Prince Harry defined after ‘tribulations’
As Prince Harry prepares for a lads’ getaway in the Santa Ynez Mountains to celebrate his 40th birthday, he “couldn’t be happier” in his marriage to Meghan Markle, who fits the role of being the Duke’s “rock”, according to body language expert Darren Stanton.
Despite spending a few days apart from his wife, with friends like Nacho Figueras and Orlando Bloom, the Duke of Sussex has already marked the milestone at their Montecito home with Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet. Darren believes the couple’s relationship is “stronger than ever.”
Speaking to Betfair Casino, the expert said: “In recent events, Harry and Meghan have shown that they’ve found a new level of intimacy in their relationship. After their appearance in Colombia, they seemed more in tune and connected than ever before. From public displays of affection to rarely being apart, this physical behaviour shows their bond is stronger than ever and continues to deepen.”
He further noted that, even after six years of marriage, Meghan seems utterly smitten with her husband: “We’ve seen Meghan watching Harry from the sidelines while he’s focused and concentrating and she’s looked at Harry with adoration and displayed feelings of pride and comfort. It’s clear that Meghan is proud to be Harry’s wife and he continues to impress her five years into their marriage.”
Darren discusses how shared aspirations have boosted the couple’s bond, stating: “I think the thing that has really propelled their relationship publicly is Harry’s Invictus Games project. That’s very much his baby. He is clearly following in his mother’s footsteps, with a humanitarian focus.”
“Harry is very confident now as his own person, which comes after having the opportunity to be his own person in America and having Meghan backing him and supporting him. Harry goes to lots of press events individually as well as with his wife, and he’s generally in a state of pure elation and joy when he’s out at events such as Invictus. They are very similar in the sense they both have passions for humanitarian issues and want to help a lot of people.”
Moreover, Darren suggests Meghan provides Harry the calm he’s sought since childhood: “As Harry approaches his 40th birthday, it’s clear he couldn’t be more content.”
“I think Meghan has definitely provided a stable environment for Harry in recent years,” continues Darren, “and she has helped bring a lot of calm into his life. Meghan has clearly been a real rock for Harry and likewise he’s been there supporting her in her events.
“Again, Harry has been brave and courageous, started a brand new life in the States and speaking openly about his passions. The two of them have been each other’s rock. I think they’re now at a really strong point in their relationship.
“They don’t need to make gestures to show people they love each other. From a non-verbal perspective, we get prolonged eye contact, and interpersonal attraction. They easily break 10/12 seconds of eye contact which denotes people who are connected on a very deep level.
“Fundamentally, they seem to have grown equally together and I think a lot of the trials and tribulations we’ve seen have actually strengthened their relationship. What is clear is that they have been by each other’s sides through all of these changes. From a body language point of view, the two are absolutely besotted with each other and Harry couldn’t be happier at this point in his life.”
