Trump’s weirdo operating mate admits ‘creating’ story about immigrants consuming cats

Weirdo JD Vance has admitted that he “created” a story about Haitian migrants eating pet cats and dogs.

Donald Trump’s strange running mate claimed he did it to draw attention to illegal immigration in the US.

The Republican vice-presidential candidate said that if he has to “create stories so that the media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do”.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.

His unsubstantiated claim about people eating pets in Springfield, Ohio, was spread by Trump during last week’s presidential debate.

The orange manbaby, 78, said citizens “have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn’t be in this country”.

Oddball Vance, who previously suggested the US is run by “childless cat ladies”, said he “created” the claim in order to “to draw attention to the Biden-Harris immigration policies”.

The Ohio senator, 40, said he had spoken about it to draw attention to Springfield’s relatively large Haitian population. The rumours have led to bomb threats aimed at local hospitals and government offices.

But Vance doubled down and insisted it was “disgusting” to suggest his controversial remarks had led to those threats. Town officials have widely rejected the lies.

High-profile Democratic politician Pete Buttigieg fumed: “Remarkable confession by JD Vance when he said he will ‘create stories’ (that is, lie) to redirect the media.

“All this to change the subject away from abortion rights, manufacturing jobs, taxation of the rich, and the other things clearly at stake in this election.”

Vance was widely panned over his earlier “childless cat ladies” remarks, including by Friends star Jennifer Aniston, while it was most recently referred to by pop megastar Taylor Swift.
