Jermaine Jenas’ spouse Ellie breaks silence after BBC star’s sexting scandal

The wife of disgraced ex-BBC presenter Jermaine Jenas has broken her silence for the first time since the former footballer was sacked.

The pundit had his contract terminated with the BBC following allegations of inappropriate behaviour. The Daily Star previously reported that the 41-year-old TV presenter, who hosted The One Show and regularly appeared on Match of the Day, was fired over claims of unsolicited inappropriate messages involving a female employee.

And he later admitted that he hid the sordid messages from his wife. The TV presenter has been married to ex-model Ellie Penforld since 2011. The couple share two daughters together Geneva and Olivia and a son Jacob.

And nearly one month on, she has finally broken her silence – to reveal “something very special” that she’s been working on for three years. She has not yet addressed her husband’s scandal, but on instagram she calls herself a ‘mother and a wife’ in clearest sign yet she may stand by him.

Called Preppy Skin, she has now launched a person care brand aimed at kids and teens.

She posted on Instagram: “As a mother of 4, I knew that there was a gap for something immersive, fun but also (and most importantly to my eldest). Has to look amazing for her Get ready with me routines!

She has also launched an Instagram page for the brand, and a website, with a post that says “your new Bathroom Bestie”.

As it stands, the website asks for your email address and states: “Get ready to meet your new bathroom bestie…A personal care brand inspired, and built by kids and teens. Add your email to be the first to know when we launch.”
