Pedestrian loses leg in ‘hit-and-run’ horror crash in Bradford

A pedestrian has lost a leg in a horror ‘hit-and-run’ crash in Bradford where a severed limb was left in the road. 

The incident reportedly took place on Halifax Road, near to the Tesco in Buttershaw, Bradford, at around 8pm on Monday.  

A horrifying video, seen by MailOnline, showed a casualty lying in the middle of the road with their arms outstretched as a group of men gathered around. 

The grisly footage then showed a severed lower leg just metres away.

Photographs posted to ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, by YappApp, showed a police cordon in place around a Pelican crossing near the supermarket.

Police officers could be seen gathered inside the cordon, while debris including a shoe, lay in the road. 

Local residents described the high-speed impact crash as ‘horrendous’, according to the media company.

Halifax Road remained closed on Monday following the collision.
