Reddit down once more as 1000’s of customers hit by ‘server error’ worldwide
Social media website Reddit has gone down, leaving users worldwide hit with a “server error” message.
It marks the second time in a month that the popular forum-based website has crashed in such a major way.
Users flocked to Down Detector to report the outage, with more than 6,000 reports in a matter of minutes.
And rival site Twitter/X was filled with complaints about Reddit going down, as well as a statement from Reddit officials claiming that they are “currently investigating this issue”.
It was confirmed that the issue impacted reddit.com, Native Mobile Apps, Vote Processing, and Comment Processing.
Seeing the comedic site, one user posted on Twitter/X: “I was 61 comments deep into a 9 year old thread about existentialism.”
And another joked: “Coming to Twitter to check if Reddit is Down and seeing how addicted me and everyone else is.”
Many others commented that they though they had been “banned” as the server error issue often shows up when your account is banned . . . not that we at the Daily Star know anything about that.
