In a chilling hit-and-run, young Kayden was left for dead, in a coma and with a leg brutally amputated after a car smashed into him at a terrifying 100mph on the streets of Bradford.
The teen, just 17, met his gruesome fate on Monday, September 16, shortly after 8.30pm, whilst out grabbing essentials from Tesco with his mates. The horror unfolded as a vehicle, said to be dodging coppers, bolted through a red light, clattering into the lad with catastrophic impact.
A friend of the family, Michaela Petty, poured out the nightmarish details on a GoFundMe page set up for the stricken youngster, painting a picture of the deadly moment the motor thundered into him.

Michaela shared the chilling details of the tragic event, stating: “Kayden is still in hospital, in a coma and still in a critical condition due to his injuries. He’s been in theatre twice for major life changing operations, which one led to him having to have his leg off up to his thigh.
“Carole’s family and friends all count there lucky stars Kayden is still here today. However he will have to be in hospital for weeks until he recovers it’s going to be one hell of a journey for his family and friends.”
A close family friend confirmed that Kayden’s mother has not left his side: “Kayden is currently in an induced coma in the LGI with his mum Carole by his side.”
