Hunt for Sussex man who retains taking a poo in ‘neighbour’s street’

A hunt is on for a Sussex man, dubbed the ‘Phantom Pooper’, who keeps taking a poo in ‘neighbour’s road’  and even remembers to bring his own loo roll.

The sleepy Sussex seaside village of Camber is being blighted by a so-called Phantom Pooper who is allegedly going around the area defecating in public places.

In gross CCTV footage, taken on Thursday morning, a man can be seen stood in the corner of a garage on what appears to be a residential street with toilet roll in one hand.

He then proceeds to squat with his pants down to do his business in plain sight of any passers-by who might happen to walk past.

Further footage then shows the man seemingly walking away from the scene – still carrying his toilet paper.

Sussex News reported the bizarre story on X, formerly Twitter, they wrote: The ‘Phantom Pooper’ strikes again in Camber!

‘This stealthy stinker leaves his mark—and even comes prepared with his own toilet roll!

‘This mysterious man keeps leaving unwanted deposits in a person’s residential driveway.’

The post prompted a disgusting reaction from social media user.

One said: ‘He must surely have a reason. So sad someone has to result in doing this. Really feel for the residents.’

Another wrote: ‘Oh my days! What’s wrong with some people?’

Meanwhile one user asked with morbid curiosity how he gets rid of the used toilet roll.

MailOnline have approached Sussex Police for a comment.
