Tesco Bank down throughout UK as prospects rage ‘I can not get my cash’

Tesco Bank’s online app has gone down, leaving customers raging that they can’t access their cash.

Reports started flooding in to Down Detector at around 8am to claim that the site and apps had crashed. Tesco has yet to comment on it but one user posted on social media: “Just what I need, now I can’t access my money this morning.”

Another wrote: “@tescobankhelp is online banking down? I’ve had an error logging into two accounts today..” And a third raged: “Good morning just logged into my credit card through the app and I’ve received the message ‘Account information currently unavailable’. How long is this problem likely to last?.”

Down Detector is reporting that around two thirds of issues are related to credit cards, with around 25% coming from those unable to access the mobile banking app.

So far, more than 340 reports have been made to the website, yet no word has come from the shopping giants about why the services have gone down and when they’re likely to be restored.

Many users were not even able to log in to the app, with the “loading circle” going round for around 30 seconds before the app closed without warning.
