Sean Dyche future unsure at Everton after Friedkin Group takeover
Everton are set to evaluate Sean Dyche’s future in the coming weeks following the Friedkin Group’s agreement to buy Farhad Moshiri’s majority stake in the club.
The much-anticipated takeover will undoubtedly heighten the uncertainty already stoked by Everton’s dismal start to the season.
Despite leading in their last three games, Dyche has managed only one draw and four losses in Everton’s first five Premier League matches. Goodison Park also saw a Carabao Cup third-round exit to Southampton on penalties after initially taking the lead.

Everton are among six Premier League clubs yet to secure a win, raising fears that they may not avoid the relegation fight this season. Such a scenario would be catastrophic as they prepare to relocate to their new, cutting-edge, 53,000-seat stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
It seems unlikely that the Friedkin Group would allow Everton’s current form to persist without making changes after such a significant investment. The Express has identified three potential managerial replacements for Dyche if the ex-Burnley boss gets sacked.

Gareth Southgate, who resigned as England manager after losing the Euro 2024 final to Spain, is currently unemployed.
According to GIVEMESPORT, the Friedkin Group has already approached Southgate about potentially succeeding Dyche. Taking the helm at Everton under new ownership is sure to be a tempting offer for any coach currently without a job.
However, no final decision has been made regarding the future of the current manager, and it remains uncertain whether Southgate is prepared to step back into management.

David Moyes, another seasoned coach who has been jobless since the summer, left West Ham United after his contract ended following a successful five-year stint.
The 61-year-old shares an excellent rapport with Everton, having spent 11 years in the Goodison Park hot seat before accepting Sir Alex Ferguson’s invitation to succeed him.
He offers a reliable option with a profound understanding of the club’s traditions and expectations – both of which will be put to the test under new ownership. The chance to make his comeback could be too enticing to pass up if it presents itself.
Graham Potter

Graham Potter has been unemployed for one-and-a-half years following his dismal seven-month tenure at Chelsea.
The Englishman earned his strong reputation through his work at Swansea City and Brighton and Hove Albion. Therefore, Everton could provide an appealing opportunity to return to club management and restore his status as a top-tier coach.
But is Potter holding out for the England job should Lee Carsley not secure the position permanently? Only time will tell.
