Sickening allegations made in opposition to Trump would-be murderer’s household
The son of Ryan Wesley Routh, the man charged with the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump, has been arrested for child pornography.
Oran Routh is in federal custody in North Carolina after his home in Guilford County was searched over the weekend.
Investigators found ‘hundreds’ of images linked to ‘child exploitation’.
The two charges of receipt and possession of child pornography are unrelated to his father’s case alleging he attempted to shoot and kill former president Trump at his West Palm Beach, Florida golf course earlier this month.
He will make an initial appearance later on Tuesday afternoon.
The son of Ryan Wesley Routh – the gunman accused of trying to kill Donald Trump – was taken into federal custody in North Carolina for ‘unrelated’ child pornography charges
Prosecutor wrote in the criminal complaint that ‘a review of the SD card located in Device-1 revealed that it contained hundreds of child pornography files.
‘These files include videos from a known child pornography series created outside the state of North Carolina,’ it adds.
The content was discovered on a Samsung Galaxy Note, referenced in the complaint, which was found inside Oran Routh’s primary bedroom in his residence.
The complaint gave graphic descriptions of the videos and included details of a chat from July where the accused allegedly responded to someone advertising the illegal content for sale.
In court on Tuesday, prosecutors are expected to request Oran’s continued detention.
