Creep grabbed child off mum on a practice then bolted down carriage with tot in arms
A man grabbed a baby from a mum’s arms as she was about to leave a train in horror scenes.
Police have issued an urgent CCTV appeal following the incident, which happened in Worksop, Nottinghamshire at 7.30pm on Saturday 17 August. Officers said they wanted to speak to a man pictured in a red shirt who appeared to be eating chips.
A stranger is said to have grabbed the infant before taking off down the carriage, the Mirror reported. A relative of the mother then ran after the man and grabbed the baby back.

The man left the train at Barnsley, British Transport Police said. Detectives urged anyone with information or who recognises the man in the photograph to come forward.
A statement from officers read: “British Transport Police are today issuing an image following an attempted child abduction on a train. The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Saturday August 17 when a mother carrying her baby was preparing to leave the service at Worksop.”
The statement continued: “A stranger grabbed the baby from the mother’s arms and took off down the carriage with her. A relative managed to grab the baby back.
“The man left the service at Barnsley. Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help their investigation.”
