Mum turns into first to die from Brazilian Butt Lift in Britain as two arrested

A mum-of-five became the first Brit to tragically pass away after getting a so-called liquid Brazilian Butt Lift in the UK.

Alice Delsie Preete Webb, 33, a beauty therapist, sadly died on Monday following the procedure and two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

This non-surgical version of a BBL involves pumping hyaluronic acid and dermal fillers into the buttocks.

Online ads tout similar treatments for a hefty £2,500 a pop, claiming they can be done in just an hour. The Mirror has learned that Alice’s procedure was reportedly carried out by someone without any medical qualifications.

Gloucestershire Police are investigating the tragic death of the mum and her pal Abi Irwin paid tribute to Alice, calling her a “beautiful person inside and out.”

Abi revealed: “Alice passed away on Monday evening after having a BBL treatment which has gone wrong. [She] had the biggest heart, her family was her world – it is a difficult and heartbreaking time for them all.”, reports the Mirror.

Dane Knight, Alice’s other half, took to the internet last night, saying: “Want to say a heartfelt thank you..including [for] all of the kind messages sent to my children. Please, please have these five girls’ feelings at heart here.”

The woman’s family are being supported by specially trained officers. an investigation, led by the Major Crime Investigation Team, is ongoing.
