Eugenie Bouchard offers replace on tennis profession after making dramatic U-turn

Tennis hottie Eugenie Bouchard is back with a bang and not ready to kiss goodbye to her racket just yet.

The 30-year-old stunner, famed for reaching the Wimbledon finals, had fans thinking she’d served her last ace when she swerved the WTA Tour post a no-show at the US Open.

Turning heads, Bouchard swapped lobs for dinks as she jumped onto the pickleball court. But faster than a cross-court smash, she’s smashing tennis balls again, telling the Tennis Insider Club: “At the beginning of the year I focused more on pickle just because it was the new thing and I wanted to improve.

“But I just didn’t want to let go of tennis completely for sure, so I’ve played a few tournaments this year.”

Bouchard didn’t shy away from admitting the tough ride juggling rackets can be, especially when you’re off the full-time tennis grid. She aired: “It’s obviously tough – if I’m not playing full-time on the tour, it’s hard to have goals and expectations.

“I just really enjoy playing and I want to just keep that option there. I just love it so much.”

But don’t expect this tennis-come-pickleball queen to drop the ball anytime soon. She’s plotting her calendar with pro precision, even though she’s tweaking her brain on how long she can double-fault between these two love affairs, reports the Express.

“It’s hard to kind of transition between the two so I did two tennis in a row, now I’ll do a couple of pickle in a row,” the athletic ace shared. “I kind of do like groups because going back and forth is just so hard and I’d rather not have to switch too many times during the year.”

The stunning sportswoman is juggling more than just sports though she confessed on the telly: “For now [I want to keep playing both sports professionally], we’ll see how long this lasts because I’m adding a lot on my plate.

“I’m doing some cool off-court stuff too, doing sometimes the commentary and all this other stuff, I feel like I have four jobs, so sometimes I need to say no and schedule breaks in my calendar.”
