Toddler and father rushed to hospital after assault

A three-year-old toddler and a father were rushed to hospital after the father was pushed to the ground in an ‘unprovoked attack’.

Police have now released the CCTV image of the man, who reportedly pushed the father, who was with his three-year-old child to the floor in Notting Hill in West London on October 5. 

The male victim who is said to have fallen to the floor and hit his head against a wall after reportedly being pushed, the Sun reports.

The incident caused the father to sustain ‘quite serious injuries, including bleeding, a fractured eye socket and heavy bruising’, according to police.

Both the father and child have since been able to leave hospital, but will still require further medical care. 

Police are now wanting to speak with a man believed to be in his 40s, who has been described by the force as black male with a medium to large build.

The individual in question was last spotted wearing white trainers, a dark blue jacket and cap, as well as a pair of blue trousers. 

Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing, however the police force believe at this stage the incident was an unprovoked attacked.
