Former Real Madrid defender Vinicius Tobias tattooed the name of who he thought was his child on his arm, only for his ex-girlfriend to reveal the baby is not his.
The Brazilian full-back, who spent two years on loan at Los Blancos, is currently playing in the Ukrainian Premier League with Shakhtar Donetsk.
On October 8, Ingrid Lima welcomed daughter Maite into the world alongside Tobias, despite their separation.
Tobias decided to get Maite’s name tattooed on his arm in celebration, along with ‘te amo’ which means ‘I love you’ in Portuguese.
However, his influencer ex-girlfriend has since taken to Instagram to share to her 103,000 followers that Tobias is not the father of her daughter.

She revealed that after splitting with Tobias some time ago, she got involved with another man.
It was decided that Lima would take a paternity test which made it known that Maite was not Tobias’ daughter.
‘I came to give a statement about something that is getting annoying and that, unfortunately, I would have to come out on publicly to give you an explanation,’ said Lima.
‘Vinicius and I haven’t been together for a while. During that time, I was in a relationship with someone and so was he. We both moved on with our lives.
‘In the meantime, Maite came along. We decided to do a DNA test, and Maite is not Vinicius’ daughter.’

Tobias currently plays for Shakhtar Donetsk and made his debut for the club this season
At just 20 years old, Tobias signed for Real Madrid’s academy after the war in Ukraine prevented him from playing for Shakhtar Donetsk following his move from Brazilian side Internacional.
He made just one appearance during his two years in the Spanish capital before finally making his debut for Donetsk this season.
