Bloke spent £584 flying household to Prague for 12 hours and ‘beloved each minute’
A bloke splashed out £584 to whisk his family to Prague for a brief 12-hour stint of sight-seeing.
Johnathan Wright, 48 together with wife Anna, aged 45, and their three lads, Edward, 18, Ollie, 17, and Alex, 14, jetted off from Luton Airport at the crack of dawn straight to the heart of the Czech Republic.
Wasting no time, the Wrights headed straight for the historical Charles Bridge for an early morning stroll. They then sauntered through the whimsically cobbled streets of the old town, topped off with a climb to the castle for those Instagram-worthy city vistas.

It was so warm, the family had a doze for 30 minutes in a local park and from there they headed into the city centre to see the different squares.
Their scenic sweep took them to the legendary clock tower followed by a jaunt on the riverboat cruise, complete with lunchtime eats, a spot of retail therapy, and, of course, tasting the sweet life with some chimney cakes, ice cream action and a drop of Prague’s finest dark beer.
As night fell, the Wrights boarded their 9.50pm flight back to the UK, touching down at 11:30 pm and still buzzing fromtheir fleeting adventure.
Johnathan, a lawyer from Kenilworth, Warwickshire, said: “We landed at 9am in the morning and got a very cheap bus and train from the airport to the centre.
“We basically tried to jam-pack everything in. We did a river cruise which had a bar on board and did a tour of the city.
“All the buildings look like they are from Disney, they were so beautiful.
“We had some of the local foods and beer like Staropramen and Budvar which was lovely.”
He added: “I think it is great way of seeing new cities and also you don’t have to spend as much as you would do on a proper holiday.”
