An outdoorsman challenged Reddit users to find his wife hidden in a photo he took of her on a Colorado mountain.
The husband, known as u/needforreid on Reddit, captured the photo of his spouse while visiting a talus field on Mount Princeton last summer.
The Reddit user revealed that he picked out his wife’s outfit before the hike, and her ensemble was primarily black, gray, and white.
To solve this unplanned brainteaser it is necessary to think like a hiker and remember that his wife is not a beginner.

The hiker admitted the talus field at Mount Princeton was a ‘real trip’ but ‘fun to scale.’
‘Everything feels quite stable when you’re hiking on it for the most part,’ he wrote.
‘The slope at this section isn’t too intense to where rock falls are an issue. Towards the summit that changes.’
The couple said they enjoyed exploring the ‘truly massive’ area.
Picture viewers who spotted the Reddit user’s wife could see that she didn’t struggle and maintained her balance.
She also appeared to be calm while standing on the rocks and looking down at her feet.
Anyone who managed to find her in the rocky talus field within one minute without reading hints or zooming in on the picture may have incredible vision.
Others who weren’t so lucky are among several Reddit users who needed help finding u/needforreid’s wife, even after he revealed the answer.

The hiker revealed shortly after posting the photo that his wife was in the ‘left center of the frame.’
His wife was located right below the sunlight glare, and not even her white hat could make her completely stick out from the rocks.
Several of more than 500 Reddit users who looked over the photo had trouble finding the hike, who one person believed was ‘married to the trails.’
‘Are you one of those people who marry objects? Did you perhaps marry a rock, cause I couldn’t spot a human,’ a Reddit user joked.
Other Reddit users shockingly believed his wife was a rock, imaginary, or had ‘disappeared into the wilderness.’
A few Reddit users managed to find his wife but admitted it took ‘quite a while’ to find her.
One person wrote: ‘Found her instantly. Maybe cos I used to build trails and could see the ‘path’ through the scree and just followed that.’
Reddit users who weren’t intrigued in finding u/needforreid’s wife instead advised the hiker to wear bright colors for now on to increase their safety.
‘Please wear bright colors when hiking. Search and Rescue is never going to spot you wearing that,’ one person wrote.
