Rivals actor Alex Hassell reveals he DID dare to reveal his actual penis
Rivals star Alex Hassell has revealed he did in fact go fully nude for saucy scenes as lothario Rupert Campbell-Black in the eye-popping Disney + series.
The actor, 44, confessed that he bared his actual penis during the infamous tennis scene with busty co-star Emily Atack, 34, after shunning the option of using a prosthetic or digital simulation and rather than being nervous, cheekily admitted: ‘I am not without attributes.’
He told Times 2 magazine: ‘I don’t mind seeing my bum and willy on screen, I wouldn’t have done the job if I was particularly shy about my body.’
The character’s erotic endeavours sees him join the mile high club on Concorde just seconds into the first episode, before stripping off to make love on a fur rug.
He told Metro: ‘It was discussed how comfortable I was whether or not it would be me or prosthetics or digital. But in the end, we just went for it.’

Taking about the logistics of filming the raunchy scenes he said: ‘You pre-plan all this stuff and then on the day, you’re just trying not to giggle too much.’
But this is not the first time Alex has stripped off on screen after going full frontal in Prime Video’s The Boys, in which he played perverted supero Translucent.
Of the racy scenes, co-star Emily told Sky News: ‘It’s so liberating and of course there are going to be people out there that take what you do and try and spin this negative narrative on it. I’m a woman, of course people are going to do that.
‘But what I need to keep doing is stressing to people is I’m exactly where I need to be, I’m at work. I’m playing a role and I’m very comfortable.’
But some scenes apparently did not go as smoothly as it appeared with Dr Who star David revealing , he actually ‘smashed up his knee’ after mis-timing an erotic scene.
Speaking on Heart Radio the actor, who plays Lord Tony Baddingham confessed that the incident actually happened when he was overly keen to jump into bed.
He said: ‘I had to launch myself onto a bed at one point, in some moment of what is going to a be sort of erotic ecstasy, and slightly mis-timed it. I ended up smashing my knee open on the bed frame.’
To which co-star Alex replied: ‘He does his own stunt’, to which David joked: ‘It wasn’t my sexiest move’.
