Tanker driver movies himself ramming automobiles as he rants about ‘getting revenge’
A cement tanker driver has filmed himself from the wheel of his vehicle ramming vehicles while ranting about getting revenge in which he declared “I’m going to kill people”.
The point of view video of the driver who fumed “Damn it, the Communist Party won’t let me live, I’m going to kill people” has been shared to X/Twitter among a number of other videos showing the devastation he caused after driving into at least six vehicles in China. Passers-by in the area filmed the truck crashing into cars and also the aftermath, which revealed many vehicles on the streets had been completely crushed in some instances.
One X account that shared a number of videos of the horror incident captioned the tweet: “On the evening of October 23, near Renmin Road in Qingdao, a cement tanker took revenge on society by driving in the opposite direction and ramming dozens of vehicles. The driver shouted angrily in the cab, ‘Damn it, the Communist Party won’t let me live, I’m going to kill people’.”
Another video also depicts a man in a boiler suit being taken away by two policemen, suggesting the perpetrator may have already been caught and arrested. That video is captioned: “The driver involved in the accident was taken away by the police.”
More posts detailed: “A bus was smashed and completely destroyed. The current casualties are unknown, and Chinese social media platforms are urgently deleting these videos.”
Chinese X users spoke out about the man’s motives, with one writing: “Even if the government treats you badly, what about ordinary people who have offended you? People like him who kill innocent people indiscriminately should be shot on the spot.”
Another added: “This incident is extremely shocking and tragic. The number of casualties is still unclear. We hope that the relevant departments can quickly launch an investigation, identify the cause of the accident and rescue the victims. For such vicious incidents, both society and the law should pay close attention to ensure that the victims receive the help they deserve and that the perpetrators are held accountable.”
