Tommy Fury ‘is in talks with KSI over a rematch’ after pulling out of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! at quick discover’

Tommy Fury has entered talks with KSI over a possible rematch after their blockbuster clash last year, according to reports. 

Fury had been expected to take part in the latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, which is due to start next month. 

However, despite having held lengthy talks with ITV producers, the 25-year-old has now reportedly pulled out of the show at short notice.

As reported by The Sun, Fury is said to have received a lucrative offer to get back into the ring and take on his rival once again.

The pair faced each other in a clash in Manchester in October 2023, with Fury winning in the sixth round by unanimous decision, which was a controversial verdict.

Producers had hoped that Fury would enter the jungle and provide an insight on his high-profile split from influencer Molly-Mae Hague. The pair broke up after five years together.

A TV insider told The Sun: ‘Bosses are surprised Tommy has pulled out of I’m A Celebrity at this late stage as it would have been a great opportunity for him.

‘Thankfully, execs already had some great names waiting in the wings so they’ll be looking at which ones fit best into the line-up already booked so they can deliver a truly great series.

‘With only weeks to go, bosses have lined up one of the most exciting casts in the show’s history.’ 

Fury has won all ten of his professional fights so far, although he hasn’t entered the ring since his initial bout with KSI.

KSI was livid following the fight, in which the scorecards read 57-56, 57-56, 57-56 in Fury’s favour. KSI was furious afterwards and branded the verdict ‘a robbery’.

Former Love Island star Fury has won four of his fights so far by knockout and he could now be looking to test himself again.

KSI’s manager and Misfits Boxing boss Mams Taylor recently suggested that a rematch with Fury was likely.

Taylor told The Sun: ‘As far as KSI and Tommy, I think when the time is right, that rematch definitely should happen.

‘Till this day people are still very divided about that result.’
