Mike Tyson sparks well being fears with dramatic sparring video forward of showdown with Jake Paul

Mike Tyson has released menacing sparring footage that has some fans fearing for Jake Paul ahead of their much-anticipated fight.

The former world heavyweight champion, 58, takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium on November 15.

The fight was originally slated for July, only for Tyson to suffer a medical emergency on a plane. An ‘ulcer flare-up’ saw Tyson become nauseous and dizzy before paramedics later came on board.

But Tyson, once considered ‘the baddest man on the planet’, is back in training for the rescheduled clash – his first sanctioned fight for two decades.

Earlier this week, the 58-year-old posted a short clip from his sparring sessions. In the video, Tyson can be seen backing his sparring partner up against the ropes.

The former heavyweight champion then lands a left hook that sees his opponent slump towards the canvas.

That prompts his trainer to call a halt to the sparring – much to the frustration of a pumped-up Tyson.

‘Are you f****** sure?’ the 58-year-old shouts. ‘I’ve got a lot in me, I’m just getting started.’ 

Tyson is a huge underdog against Paul, who is more than 30 years his junior. But the clip has convinced some fight fans that ‘Iron Mike’ can upset the odds.

‘The passion in his voice tells me how much he wants it,’ one said.

‘Imagine a world where 58 year old Mike Tyson knocks Jake Paul out. It would be beautiful,’ added another.
