New Jersey lady who posted herself tearing down string of Greek flags pondering they have been Israeli is arrested
A woman who ripped down Greek flags from outside a restaurant, after mistaking them for Israeli flags, has been arrested.
In a pro-Palestine rant, the TikTok creator can be heard shouting ‘I don’t stand for genocide, I don’t stand for Zionism’ while videoing herself pulling down the bunting from outside Efi’s Gyro in Montclair, New Jersey.
The woman, identified as Only Fans creator Amber Matthews, has since been arrested.
The 23-year-old only stopped pulling the bunting down when she was informed that the flags were Greek and not Israeli flags.

Amber Matthews, 23, only stopped pulling down the bunting when she was informed the flags were not Israeli and Matthews said ‘my bad’
Matthews videoed herself yelling at the restaurant workers, asking them if they knew there was a ‘genocide going on’ and that ‘they’re killing children’.
After repeatedly saying, ‘I don’t stand for this’, Matthews was finally told that the flags were Greek. She then says, ‘I thought it was Israel- my bad’.
Matthews received criticism online following her uploading of the video, with the caption ‘the time I mistakenly though the Flag for Greece was for Israel and took the restaurant’s flag down OMG.’
One commented: ‘Bro literally says gyros on the window. This is so embarrassing and offensive.’
Another wrote: ‘Don’t even know who you’re fighting for’
‘I hope you sincerely apologized to them, bought their food, & helped them hang it all back up & even better how can you only just say “my bad”,’ another said.
The two flags, while sharing the same blue and white color scheme, have very different designs.
The Israeli flag has the Star of David in the center, while the Greek flag has a cross and lines of blue and white.
The Israeli flag is blue and white with two lines and the Star of David in the center while the Greek flag has blue and white lines with a cross in the top left corner
Matthews was charged with bias and intimidation, and is due back in court in December
Matthews had been in the restaurant around a week earlier handing out fliers in support of Palestine, police said.
After she uploaded the video to TikTok earlier this month, officials were able to identify Matthews as the suspect.
She was charged with bias and intimidation and is due back in court in December.
