Erik Ten Hag has broken his cover for the first time since his not-so shocking sacking. We say ‘breaking cover’ loosely as he’s recognisable only by cranium.
No one likes too see someone lose their job, as pundits so often remind us before calling for their head, but try not to laugh at these latest snaps of the ex-Manchester United boss.
We may be wrong here but it looks a lot like Ten Hag made a desperate attempt to hide from the bright lights of paparazzi camera flashes by bending over in the backseat of his chauffeur-driven ride on leaving his home.

Leaving only his increasingly tensioned brow and familiar bald head, exposed for tomorrow’s back pages. It was ultimately less a game of peak-a-boo and more just boo, at least that was the noise that’s been so often heard from United fans.

The series of snaps were taken on Monday afternoon with the former Ajax manager understood to be making his way back to Holland.
United fans have taken to social media to react to the snaps. One brutal comment reads: “I’ve been bowing my head for the last 12 games let him cry.”
Another asked: “Why is ur hiding his face… Everyone knows his head.”
Despite winning the FA Cup just a few months ago, losing away at West Ham on Sunday was the final straw following a string of woeful results in the league and Europe. Those making the call made a collective one, safe in the knowledge Ten Hag had been given all he wanted – and then some – to turn United into a major force once again. But he had failed.
The club announced in a statement that Van Nistelrooy has taken charge of the team on a caretaker basis. But the ex-United bagsman is reluctant to replace his fellow Dutch pal as Manchester United‘s permanent boss – because he doesn’t want to stab him in the back.
