Big Brother descends into drama as Dean Smith sparks fiery argument in Halloween activity leaving the housemates and followers reeling

The Big Brother house descended into drama on Thursday night’s show, with housemates getting into heated arguments over vapes and shock ‘nasty’ comments in the Halloween task.

Chaotic scenes saw Dean Smith, 35, let rip on the other contestants, firing that Marcello is ‘everything he hates in a person’ and he would ‘never speak to Sarah’ on the outside world.

For this week’s shopping task, the housemates have been divided into two teams – villagers and vampires, with only one group able to win the luxury budget by the end.

The episode saw the teams compete in a series of challenges and even be kept in separate rooms, with the vampires having to ask for permission from the villagers to be able to get tot he garden to smoke or vape.

Tensions reached boiling point in a head to head challenge between Dean and Nathan, which tasked them with asking difficult questions with honesty.

Dean was asked: ‘Who will you never speak to again after you leave the house?’

With little hesitation, he quipped: ‘I’m gonna say Sarah. Sometimes when she speaks it f****** winds me up.

‘I don’t think we’d get on outside, we don’t have anything in common and anyone that wears shoes like that – we cannot be friends’.

Then, when he was quizzed on who he thinks manipulated people in the house, Marcello was next in the firing line.

‘I am gonna say Marcello,’ said Dean, ‘He is everything I hate in a person on the outside. He is a very masculine man which I don’t vibe with.

‘And I really feel like maybe, he’s only cooking for people to manipulate them to be safe’.

Shocked, the housemates gasped as the drama unfolded, with Sarah sniping: ‘Dean’s out to make enemies today’ and Marcello cooly responding: ‘If you ask me a question about myself sometimes you’d be able to find out.’

The chaos only got worse when Sarah confronted Dean about his comments, as he told her: ‘Sometimes when you talk I’m like f****** hell. I think sometimes your tone of voice for me is a bit like ugh, I don’t enjoy it.

‘We don’t talk. I don’t think we would get on on the outside. I think I talk to you sometimes in here because we’re in the house. I don’t think we’d be friends outside.

‘I don’t sit with you anyway and have conversations because I just know I wouldn’t wanna talk to you on the outside world. It’s as simple as that.’

Taken aback, Sarah replied: ‘I just think that wasn’t necessary. I know you had to say something but going personal was not necessary.’

Elsewhere in the intense installment of the ITV2 show, the two teams broke out into a furious argument when the villagers refused to left the vampires outside to smoke.

‘Why the f*** will you not let us out for a smoke?’ Emma shouted through the door, while Ali fired at Lily: ‘I saved you last week!’

Losing patience, Emma ranted: ‘It’s not even got f*** all to do with the task. F****** w**** behaviour, f*** all of you. I’m not even f****** joking, what a load of w****** you are.’

Ali chimed in with: ‘We’ve had no food, we’re not even allowed to eat in there. This is unnecessary, it’s not part of the task. It’s unnecessary suffering.’

It comes after Martha Church became the fourth person to leave the Big Brother house on Wednesday night, following a ‘brutal’ and shocking back door eviction.

Emotional scenes saw Big Brother tell the 26-year-old NHS administrator her time on the show had come to an end on the same day she found out she was nominated.

Instead of walking out of the iconic house live through the front door and being met by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Martha left quietly via a secret exit with no crowd to cheer or boo her.

Meanwhile, Ali, Khaled, and Thomas survived the public vote and made it through to another week, or at least the next few days.

It came as the housemates were placed in groups of four to take place in a Trick or Treat game, which saw some contestants be gunked with green slime and others being showered with confetti.

Ali, Khaled, Martha, and Thomas were the last group to line up in the garden for the game, but had no idea they were in for a different kind of trick.

Head of House Emma stood in front of the vulnerable housemates as it was revealed to everyone that she had put them up for eviction.

Tense scenes saw Big Brother tell them: ‘Only Big Brother knows which pumpkin holds the terrible trick. One at a time Big Brother will place you under a pumpkin.’

After the housemates were placed next to the numbered pumpkins, Big Brother revealed that Emma’s evil power was to choose four people to face eviction and one of them would be leaving right there and then.
