Promoters slash Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson tickets to a VERY low-cost value – regardless of ringside seats costing as much as £39,000 – as curiosity in Netflix ‘conflict of the generations’ struggle falls flat
- There are hundreds of tickets remaining for Mike Tyson’s bout with Jake Paul
- As a result, promoters have decided to lower the price of hundreds of seats
- Tyson and Paul will go toe-to-toe at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium on November 15
The remaining tickets for Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul are being sold at a discounted price in a bid to fill out Arlington’s AT&T Stadium in Texas.
Tyson will make a return to the ring on November 15 to take on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in what many are calling a ‘clash of generations’.
Both men were hoping their bout – which is being broadcast live on Netflix – would sell out the stadium. However, there are still plenty of tickets remaining.
So, instead of increasing the cost as the event draws close, promoters have decided half the price of hundreds of tickets in an attempt to hit the 80,000 capacity.
Several Seat Geek tickets are going for $37 (£28), while the likes of StubHub are advertising their tickets for $52 (£40).

Ringside tickets, however, have not been slashed – costing around $10,000 (£7,749) per seat for an up close and personal view.
Meanwhile, the Box Office ringside seats are going for $50,000 a pop – offering fans: ‘Ringside Club Hospitality on Fight Night including top-shelf open bar and all-inclusive food.’
Fans will also get a post-fight opportunity in the ring and a boxing glove signed by both Paul and Tyson as well as VIP Seating and Lounge for ancillary Fight Week Events (i.e., Press Conference, Workout, Weigh-In).
There is hope that the cut in costs will help sell out of the AT&T Stadium, which has a capacity of over 80,000 for boxing.
There is an element of pressure given the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez have drawn large crowds to the AT&T Stadium before.
According to USA Today, Seat Geek declined to say how tickets have been sold so far. But, Dallas News did report that more than 35,000 tickets were sold on the first day they were released.
Most Valuable Promotions will be eager for the event – which includes an epic rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano – to be regarded as a success.
Paul is confident he can put on a show for the fans and insists he has what it takes to beat the former heavyweight world champion.
Ahead of the bout, Paul explained exactly how he was planning to get one over on Iron Mike – claiming he will box on the outside and use his footwork.
Paul said: ‘I’ll box on the outside and then use my footwork to be more agile and get him chasing me and then attack him when he’s out of position. That should frustrate him.’

Meanwhile, Tyson said the bout will end as soon he catches the YouTuber-turned-boxer
While Tyson said: ‘[It will last] Not long, as soon as I catch him, because he’s going to run like a thief. I don’t see how he’s going to make an exciting fight by running all day.
‘He’s supposed to be the young guy, he’s supposed to run right through me… I’m an old man and he’s going to run all f***ing night?!’.
