Body present in Sarah Cunningham search – final seen ‘getting right into a Vauxhall’

A body has been found in the search for missing artist Sarah Cunningham.

Sarah disappeared on Jamestown Road in Camden, north London, on November 2 at around 3am and The Sun is now reporting that a body has been found. This comes just hours after The Metropolitan Police made a public appeal.

Now, Camden Police said on X that a casualty on the tracks was reported at Chalk Farm Underground Station early this morning, November 4, and that Sarah’s family have been informed.

They said: “Sadly we have informed the family of Sarah Cunningham of this development.

“They have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.

“Officers from the Met are working with colleagues in the British Transport Police to look into the circumstances.”

The Metropolitan Police said her death is being treated as “unexpected” but is “not thought to be suspicious.”

Her brother Anthony Cunningham had also posted an appeal on X for information, where he described what she was wearing at the time she was last spotted.

He wrote: “My sister Sarah Cunningham has been missing since 2.30am in Camden. Last seen leaving apartment building on Jamestown Road. She was wearing a black outfit.”

It had been reported that Sarah was last seen getting into a Vauxhall with an unidentified male, but police investigated and said that it was not actually the young artist.
