Met Office focused by conspiracy principle nut jobs venting fury at each forecast

UK’s weather bureau has become a target for an army of conspiracy theory-wielding fruitcakes who are raging over recent forecasts.

The Met Office, a seemingly harmless and non-offensive government government department, has been accused of covering up geo engineering projects, chemtrails and spreading misinformation, about, er, the weather.

Online trolls have taken to the comments section seethe and rage over forecasts shared on Facebook, which they believe are fraudulent.

A recent video offered a forecast for last weekend’s that was captioned with “After a largely grey and dull weekend, could this forthcoming week offer anything sunnier? Find out with our look ahead to the next five days”.

One conspiracy theorist claimed the Met Office was part of experiments on the UK weather

An incensed troll, going by the name of Gavin Williams, took to the comments section to rage: “The weather getting far worse with temperatures hanging all year & your organisation is fully complicit in the illegal weather manipulation you have admitted you have all the data on all the Geo engineering projects across the UK.”

On another seemingly harmless weekend weather update, another Christ F Oley commented: “You are covering up the Geo engineering. High pressure should bring clear skies not continuous cloud cover. Go on X (Twitter) and see the real news. People are telling you their stories about the cloud covering their area for weeks on end. This isn’t normal.”

Another claimed the government was using cloud-making machines

Another particular active nut job, accused the government of experimenting with the weather, commenting: “The government’s don’t hide the fact that they are experimenting with the weather. Even the met office admit to it. But don’t worry it’s safe and effective…”

Britain’s persistent cloud coverage is one of the reoccuring points of contention, with another troll, claiming the Met Office needs to fix the “man made cloud-makers” which occur around the world, according to him.

Super troll Gavin also chipped in on this thread, adding that the chemtrails are getting “worse and worse and worse” and that they are “not natural or normal” before telling people they are speeding a “load of lies” and that they will “all be arrested very soon”.

The Daily Star is seemingly not the only one to have spotted the slew of questionable venting.

Replying to the Met Office’s most recent video, someone commented: “Waiting for the chemtrail nutters.”
