Brits supplied emergency flights out of USA after Trump wins election
British holidaymakers who find themselves in the USA after Donald Trump won the US election have been offered emergency flights home by a package holiday firm. On the Beach, which runs holidays to hotspots including New York and Vegas, is offering an escape from ‘Trump’s America’ to UK citizens currently stateside.
Zoe Harris, Chief Customer Officer at On the Beach, said: “Trump has claimed victory and we know that for some of our customers, making ‘America great again’ just isn’t on their holiday itinerary.”
She added, “If they feel that strongly about the result then we’re offering them a chance to change their flights and come home today.”
The company is eager to assist any tourists wishing to get home, prompting them to reach out to their customer service swiftly to rejig their return flights. On the Beach is also slashing prices on future US holidays with a week in America, including flights, now down to as little as £600.
