Former Hollywood actor hunted by cops – however everyone seems to be saying the identical factor

Police are hunting for on-the-run ex-Hollywood actor Jason Hoganson, but their appeals for information are falling on deaf ears for one specific reason.

Hoganson, 53, is believed to be actively evading arrest and could be anywhere in Northumbria or County Durham, Northumbria Police wrote on X/Twitter. The former acting heartthrob is wanted for recall to prison for breaching his licence conditions and police have issued a warning to the public, urging them not to approach.

“Anyone with information on Hoganson’s whereabouts should send us a direct message on social media,” cops pleaded on Twitter/X.

Instead of receiving clues about Hoganson’s whereabouts, police were ribbed for “needing help to find” the criminal, who’s mugshot is emblazoned with very distinguishable tattoos. “F*** me … if you need help there then you may as well give up!” one person wrote.

“Beware. This man can blend seamlessly into any environment. He will be difficult to spot,” chimed another. Someone else joked: “He could be pretty tricky to spot in a crowd. He’s unremarkable and blends in, but he’s always the hardest to spot.”

Hoganson was snapped earlier this year giving the thumbs up as he walked free from HMP Durham on September 10. The disgraced star was freed after serving just half of his 18-month sentence for assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Despite his early release, the star, who had a leading role in the cult 1980s film Empire State, found himself back in prison just two days later.

The actor allegedly slapped his ex-girlfriend outside her house on the very day he was released under Labour’s new prison plan. Hoganson has also been accused of breaching his restraining order against the victim.

Hoganson appeared at Newcastle Magistrates Court on September 12 where he pleaded guilty to one count of breaching the restraining order but denied the second.

In recent years, the former thespian shocked fans when he showed off his extensive face tattoos in addition to those covering his self-harm scars.

Police have warned Brits not to approach Hoganson and “instead contact us immediately.”
