Cleaning the khazi is the most hated job in the entire country.
Bored Brits say blitzing the bog is the worst task in everyday life, labelling the laborious task as “mind numbing”.
The top 25 rubbish tasks have been released by researchers, with most of the list including cleaning up at home.
Around 34% of the nation say they dread having to grab the bleach and the loo brush to get down and dirty in the bathroom and say the job is “more depressing” than queuing in a supermarket – 32% – or washing up after a big meal – 31% – which came second and third in the list.
Ironing, watching adverts and hoovering also made the list of the most brain-numbing jobs.
The research was collated by bingo site Tombola, who say as many as 94% want to have more fun in the day-to-day.
James Boord, of Tombola, said: “The research reveals those times that feel like the gaps between the good stuff, like waiting in the checkout queue, assembling flat pack furniture and adverts in the middle of a film.
“Things we wish we didn’t have to do but are often part of the admin of life. We know that 20 percent of our users are playing tombola on the loo, so you could say we bring a bit of fun to a quiet moment.”
Other boring tasks include looking at someone else’s holiday photos, stacking the dishwasher and collecting missed parcels.
One in six – 14% – say they also hate cleaning their car, while working out which day what bin goes out – 11% – drives Brits barmy.
