Influencer escapes harrowing ‘assassination try’ by males who blocked her automotive then ‘began taking pictures’
A Mexican influencer with millions of followers on social media claimed she survived an assassination attempt in Miami and has been receiving death threats.
Muñeca Diamante de Rubi revealed to her nearly 3 million followers on Instagram that she was on her way home Wednesday night when a pickup truck intercepted her SUV.
The 53-year-old businesswoman recalled that one man remained in the vehicle while his accomplice stepped out with an assault rifle.
‘He pulled out a large caliber weapon to try to kill me. I fled as fast as I could with the car, running all the red lights,’ she claimed while apparently lying in a hospital bed.
‘The car was rendered useless, totally lost. I crashed into another car. The other person’s car was also rendered useless.’

The influencer said that despite the car’s airbag hitting her nose, she was able to run out of the car and received aid on the scene from cops and paramedics.
She was taken to an area hospital with a cut on her lip and a chest injury, which she said required X-rays.
She told her followers that she was able to provide the pickup truck’s license plate to local authorities.
‘An investigation is underway to find out who is behind all this,’ she alleged.

‘We will investigate to the last detail who is the person who has the interest in wanting to take my life, because it was a very large weapon that they used to shoot at me,’ she added.
The jet-setting influencer vowed to surround herself with a security team after the scare.
‘I’m receiving a lot of death threats, telling me that they already know where I live, that they’re going to hack my Instagram again,’ she claimed.
‘What happened was too much, they already pulled out this big weapon. So everything is going to be investigated and I’m not going to be alone anymore,’ she continued.
‘I’m going to have a lot of security people with me. Do you think they’re going to catch me alone? No.’
