Strongman champion Luke Stoltman has separated from his wife after she accused him of cheating with a woman powerlifter.

Stoltman, 39, of Invergordon, Ross-shire, is currently Europe’s Strongest Man and has won the national title five times.

His wife Kushi, 31, took to social media to claim her husband has been having liaisons with a female competitor while their child was unwell in hospital.

She also made other claims of adultery and revealed she was ‘heartbroken and devastated’ by the news.

After years of fertility treatment, the couple finally welcomed their first child – a baby boy – nine months ago.

Kushi wrote in a post on Instagram: ‘I thought my world was complete going through so much heartache to get my beautiful baby boy and finally get pregnant and getting that happily ever after I’ve always wanted with my husband after trying for so many years.

‘Our son is nine months old now and this weekend after our son has been in hospital so sick and Luke refusing to come and see him in hospital because he was with another woman behind my back.’

She added: ‘I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated that someone could be so cruel and nasty.

‘He is not the man he portrays himself to be.

‘Thank you very much Luke Stoltman… for torturing me.

‘I have no idea how people in this world can be so cruel.’

When approached by The Scottish Sun, Kushi said: ‘This is all true I’m afraid.’

Stoltman is nicknamed the Highland Oak and is the older brother of the current World’s Strongest Man Tom, 30.

Tom’s wife Sinead was one of those to send support to her sister-in-law, as was famous lifter Eddie Hall’s partner Alexandra.

MailOnline has contacted Stoltman for comment.
