Brit feminine wrestler hits again after Daily Star interview sparks slanging match
A top British female wrestler has hit back at her opponent after she was targetted during a Daily Star interview. Harley Hudson is set to battle ex-WWE NXT UK star Aleah James at Burning Heart Pro Wrestling’s Wolverhampton show tomorrow night (Saturday).
And during an exclusive interview with the Daily Star earlier this week, James, 27, had some choice words for her opponent who won TNA’s female Gut Check competition earlier this year. James told us: “I know she has a lot to say, and thinks highly of herself – I would love for her to show me what she’s got because I’m ready. I’ve been doing my research, so I hope she’s been doing hers.”
These words appeared to have angered the scouse powerhouse, with Hudson taking to social media to hit back at James. The current Phenomenal Elite Wrestling Women’s Champion and former TNT Women’s Tag Team Champion as part of Scouse and Proud with Lizzy Evo said: “Aleah James, you really thought you ate with that, didn’t you?
“I’ve seen what you’ve been saying about me in the Daily Star as if I’m even bothered that you think I think highly of myself – you know absolutely nothing. You’ve been on holiday doing cross-fit, doing cartwheels, while I’ve been here in England wrestling 149 matches this year and I have the displeasure of making you my 150th.
“I’ll tell you this for free, you’ve only got two things to worry about when you show up on Saturday – Getting your gear on and doing a good entrance because once that bell rings you’ve got absolutely nothing to worry about because it’s going to be all about me.”
Hudson went on to claim James will end the night “lying down, looking at the ceiling and wishing you never said nothing about me” before calling herself the best thing to come out of Liverpool since “Cilla Black”.
Well, let’s see who’s in for “a lorra, lorra” pain . . . “
The pair will clash tomorrow night, with tickets still available here.
