Glastonbury tickets promote out as followers rage ‘bull****’ after hundreds undergo identical glitch
Punters were left seething after thousands appeared to suffer the same internet glitch in the hunt for Glastonbury tickets.
Tickets are now sold out for next year’s festival, adding further fury to festival goers who were met with the glitch. Despite logging in right at 9am, many were fuming as their position in the queue failed to change at all.
“Has anyone got #Glastonbury tickets yet,” one person raged on X. “My green bits haven’t even moved?”
Another said: “#Glastonbury 10 mins in. 3 computers, an iPad and a phone. AND STILL ONLY 2 BARS. How is this humanly possible. Asking for a friend.”
The festival organisers have since confirmed that tickets “have now all been sold and confirmation emails are going out now”. They added: “We’re sorry to those who missed out. There will be a resale of any cancelled / returned tickets in Spring 2025.”
Tickets took just 35 minutes to seel out after going on sale at 9am today. Prices were marked at £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee, which is an £18.50 rise from the 2024 cost of £355 plus a £5 booking fee.
Seller See Tickets wrote: “Tickets for @Glastonbury Festival 2025 are now SOLD OUT. Confirmation emails are going out now.
“Thank you to everyone who bought tickets this morning and sorry to those who missed out.”
Last year, the main tickets were gone in less than an hour, after being put on sale at 9am. The first group of 2025 tickets for coach travel went in less than 30 minutes, earlier this week.
Festival organiser Emily Eavis is already in talks with acts to headline in 2025 after last year saw two female headliners on the Pyramid Stage, Dua Lipa on Friday and SZA on Sunday. The 2024 festival also saw Coldplay make history as the first act to headline the festival five times.
Glastonbury next year will be the last before a fallow year in 2026, where the land is given time to recover.
