Harry Kane ‘proves why he ought to begin each sport’ with magical two minutes

There are few better footballers on the planet than Harry Kane.

The Bayern Munich talisman, 31, was dropped by Lee Carsley for England’s romp in Athens – but he was back among the starters on Sunday evening. And Kane was quick to prove why he should be starting every game for England with a magical couple of minutes.

Kane had fans swooning with a lovely ball that picked out Jude Bellingham, who cut inside and won the Three Lions a spot-kick. Kane stepped up, and with a stutter, sent Coiman Kelleher the wrong way to fire home.

“Incredible ball by England’s Harold Kane that. He’s won the match with the consequences of just one ball. His detractors go notably silent,” one fan shared. While a second said: “Harry Kane is the best striker England have had in over a decade but the English fans still whine about him…”

Tthe regularity to which Kane makes people look like f***ing idiots within 5 minutes of their terrible punditry and tweets. That is a sensational pass, one of the best in the world at that,” a third posted. And another added: “Kane is comfortably the best play to never win a trophy!”

In an interview with ITV leading up to England’s 3-0 win in Greece, captain Kane said he was unhappy about the amount of withdrawals, adding: “England comes before club.”

However, Kane was said to have been left furious when he was dropped – but the decision had been made ahead of the interview: “I probably didn’t expect it to get as much coverage as it did,” Kane admitted. “But it was my opinion.”

“The November camp has always been a difficult camp. Even if you look at other years, other players have pulled out. It’s a tough stage of the season.”
