Strictly Come Dancing viewers hail the return of one among their favorite elements of the present as they slam producers for ‘incorrect choice’
Strictly Come Dancing fans raved about the return of the pro dance opening during Sunday night’s Results show.
Traditionally the professional dancers on the BBC show take to the floor at the start of the Sunday show to perform, but the format has been shaken up in recent weeks.
For this week’s Blackpool special though the opening dance was back and viewers were delighted.
After the rofessional dancers put on a passionate and sultry performance to Tango Jalouise, fans took to social media in their droves.
‘I love a pro dance opening the show! Why not have this every week again i miss it,’ declared on fan on X, previously known as Twitter.
Others hit out at producers for removing the dance in previous weeks with one commenting:’Thank you #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing for sticking to the format of having Pro dances at the start of shows. Now can we have this every week please.’

‘starting with the pro routine?? are we actually back to how it should be???’

On Saturday Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell performed an American Smooth to Jump by Paul Anka, wowing the judges who awarded them a staggering 37 out of 40.
Jamie and Michelle Tsiakkas took to the floor to perform a Jive to The Ketchup Song which included the actor descending on a giant bottle of ‘Strictly’s tomato ketchup’.
But despite the quirky opening, the duo lacked vibration, according to Motsi and Shirley told Jamie he could have benefitted from having his ‘weight in the right place’.
Wynne and Katya showed the judges their Charleston to the Torreadores from Bizet’s Carmen with Wynne aptly dressed as a matador.

Anton called the performance ‘extraordinary’, but added that Wynne looked exhausted two thirds of the way in and as a result his form dropped.
Craig disagreed about the loss of momentum – but still complained about flat-footedness and swivel (or lack of).

The reality star and Jowita performed a Cha Cha to I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred.
The former TOWIE star, 36, told the audience he wanted to do this dance as a thank you to Jowita, before joking it was the ‘worst thank-you in the world’.
Their dance scored a total of 27 including a paltry four from Craig, placing him at the bottom of the judge’s leaderboard.
