Moment man is bodyslammed to the pavement like ‘one thing out of WWE bout’ in vicious late-night brawl

CCTV has captured the moment a man was bodyslammed to the pavement during a vicious late-night brawl that left him with horror injuries.

The footage shows the attacker rush up behind the victim as he walked down the street, before violently grabbing him and throwing him to the ground.

The man, who started bleeding ‘heavily’ after landing on his head, was left lying unconscious as his attacker fled the scene in a transit van.

The fight happened in Hytall Road in Solihull, Birmingham, just after 6pm on November 7.

An eyewitness who saw the violence unfold described it as a ‘wrestling slam’ and ‘something out of a ‘WWE bout’.

The passerby said: ‘The victim smashed his head and was out cold. The guy, who we think was the attacker, jumped into his transit van and shot off. 

‘Officers rushed the victim off in a police car before the ambulance arrived as it was that bad and he was bleeding heavily.’

West Midlands Police are investigating the incident, with inquiries are ongoing.

The member of the public told BirminghamLive: ‘The guy was walking up the road with his girlfriend and we heard a guy shouting.

‘One of the men said: ‘I thought it was over. I thought this had been dealt with?’

A police spokesman said: ‘We were called to Hytall Road, Solihull shortly after 6pm on November 7after a man was found with serious injuries. 

‘Officers attended and found the man, who was taken to hospital.

‘Fortunately, his injuries were not considered life-threatening. We are now investigating to find those responsible and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch with us via 101 or Live Chat quoting log number 4074 of 7 November.’

‘The ambulance service said they were called to the scene. 

‘One patient was taken to hospital, while paramedics assessed another patient who was discharged at the scene.’
