Man modifications his thoughts about alien life after capturing UFO on movie in Colchester

A bloke is now convinced there is alien life after spotting what he believed to be a UFO hovering over his neighbour’s house.

John Nicholls, 45, was cosied up in bed with his wife Maureen, 50, watching telly at 9pm on November 17 when he glanced out the window and saw an unusual object in the sky. Initially dismissing it as a meteor or planet, John claims it began forming “odd shapes and changing colours”, transitioning from yellow to purple and white.

The health and safety inspector hopped out of bed to film the “absolutely massive” unidentified object for several minutes before it vanished.

Despite previously not believing in extraterrestrial life, the sighting has left both him and his wife “convinced” of their existence.

John, from Alresford, Colchester, Essex, said: “When I first saw it I thought it was a planet or something. I kept watching and it started making odd shapes and changing colours – it was all very odd.

“We have seen meteor showers before from our window and it was nothing like that. From our bedroom we can see the night sky and I have never seen anything like that. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”

He admitted: “I’m not a big UFO man but I have been keeping up with the UFO hearings in America as it is interesting. Only few days ago, I showed my partner the video of project blue book alien interview as a bit of fun and we see this couple days later – it’s bloody mental.”
