‘I used to be adopted by a goblin for months – I felt horror once I leaned into its face’

A woman took to TikTok to share her spooky experience as she claimed she was followed by a goblin for months.

The social media star, named Jordan, revealed her experience to almost one million keen followers, who also opened up about their own “goblin” experiences. Jordan shared the video from her home and said she first encountered the strange creature while on a girls spa weekend with five of her friends. Her weekend was “relaxing” until she encountered the strange phenomenon.

During a 5am escapade around the historical spa she wandered the building before heading back to her hotel room and, while she was scrolling on social media, felt a tickle on her arm. After ignoring it a few times, she turned around to find a strange “figure” hiding behind the back of the sofa.

Jordan laid back and tried to ignore it after convincing herself it was just a shadow. However, the “goblin” then appeared over her as she tried to rest. In a panic she leant into the creature to try and discover what it was – and she was “horrified”.

She detailed: “It’s mouth was half the size of it’s face and he had awful janky teeth. The skin was very pale, kind of had a sheen to it … a white shiny colour. Didn’t make out any eyes but [it had] hollow black sockets.

“It looked like Gollum and I shouted very loudly what the f**k is that?” Jordan explained all her friends woke up and turned on the lights, which is when she realised the creature had disappeared. She admitted to feeling stupid and thought she may have imagined the beast.

It didn’t stop there, however. Jordan noted for weeks she thought she was being followed by a “goblin” that measured in below her knee. Jordan insisted it unplugged appliances and caused trouble around her home.

Not only that, things in her home started being knocked over and she lost personal items. Thinking she was going mad, Jordan investigated further. She only saw the “goblin” once more, when she let her dog out in her garden before bed.

One day she was opposite a witch shop and decided to take a visit. There, a woman approached her and informed Jordan that she had a “low vibrational spiritual entity attached”. Her advice was to stop talking about the “goblin” as it feeds it and also light a white candle and ask the entity to leave through open windows in her home.

Since then, Jordan has been “goblin free”. However, several commenters added their own stories into the mix. One wrote: “My Mom has a picture of me when I was younger at a party. In the picture you can clearly see a Goblin on my back. I rebuked whatever evil it was.”

Another added: “I’m so glad I found this! I saw a goblin thing climbing a tree when I was like 10 and everyone still laughs at me now and Im still convinced it was a goblin now!” A third penned: “It sounds like some sort of house elf. Something like a brownie/duende/gnome. They have them in Appalachia and Mexico too. Very mischievous creatures. And they are real!”
