Roy Keane’s impolite joke to Jill Scott makes Gary Neville spit water as clip ‘needs to be minimize’

Roy Keane left Gary Neville spitting out water with a rude joke that Ian Wright said “had to cut”.

Keane and the gang were back for the latest episode of Stick to Football, with Jill Scott opening up on her weekend playing in a charity game. Speaking on the podcast, brought to you by Sky Bet, she said: “I was playing a charity game at the weekend and Marlon Harewood absolutely smashed us.”

While Paul Scholes and Gary Neville offered sympathetic comments of “he’s a big guy” and “he was a big old thing, old Marlon,” former tough tackling midfielder Keane left the room in fits of laughter with his response.

As quick as a flash, the Manchester United legend joked: “And what was the game like?”

The podcast hosts laughed as Wright was able to regain his composure just enough to fire back: “Roy, you can’t say that! That’s got to go!” However, Scott begged with producers to keep the line in: “Please keep that in…”

The Red Devils icon then attempted to backtrack on the comment – and he claimed that he was genuinely enquiring about the match, but his co-hosts didn’t believe him. “Oh, no, what was the game like?’, Keane asked as his co-hosts continued laughing.

Wright then said: “It’s such a powerful image! I can’t unsee it” – which resulted in Neville spitting out his water as he laughed at the joke.

Once Keane eventually discovered the charity match’s scoreline – which was 6-7 – he had one more joke for the podcast: “6-9!”

Scott had been playing in a Sellebrity Soccer charity game on Sunday and her side faced a Danny Dyer team that also featured the ex-Premier League star.
