As dinner time loomed in main camp on Friday, the celebrities were told they would have to sacrifice part of their spread to ensure Junkyard campmates Maura, Richard and newbie Dean got to eat.

Volunteering to deliver the goods, Coleen and Danny Jones headed over to the Junkyard – but after seeing the camp’s conditions they left a little suspicious.

Dean was sent to join Maura and Richard in the Junkyard after the duo were forced to make a difficult during The High Street of Horrors Bushtucker Trial alongside McFly’s Danny.

Maura and Richard kept up the pretence, feigning they would have to endure another night of sleeping on the floor.

Until Maura told Dean: ‘The only half decent thing we have over here, this red button, press that, it’s actually quite interesting. It’s not great but it’s something.’

As Dean pressed the button, he too was let in on the Jungle Junkyard secret. Rendered speechless, he whispered: ‘You’ve got to be kidding me!’

Dean was clearly impressed with Maura and Richard’s acting skills, as he told Maura: ‘The BAFTA is coming!’

Back in main camp they all reflected, as they said: ‘Poor Dean.’

In the Jungle Junkyard, Maura kicked back and relaxed in a warm bubble bath to clean herself from the day’s Trial, complete with bath salts to provide a full spa experience to ensure she was smelling as fresh as a daisy.

When it was dinner time in both camps, the Jungle Junkyard received a full spread of fish, sides and dessert – unbeknownst to the main camp.

The note which accompanied it read: ‘However, as the celebrities in main camp believe you won zero stars in today’s Trial, they have been given the chance to sacrifice some of their dinner so that you can eat tonight.

‘If they decide to sacrifice their food then you win three more portions at the junk food buffet.’

Main camp found it in the goodness of their hearts to give up some of their dinner, with Coleen and Danny volunteering to deliver the goods to the Jungle Junkyard first-hand to check in on Maura, Richard and Dean.

When Coleen and Danny returned back to main camp, they updated their fellow campmates on the Jungle Junkyard conditions. Suspicions were beginning to be raised.

Coleen said: ‘I came out of here not convinced they are living in them conditions.’

Tulisa said: ‘It’s all got very Wagatha’.

‘And the fact you was the one to find it out’, GK added.

Fans branded Coleen the ultimate sleuth as they wrote on X: ‘Coleen Rooney better than the MI6 that woman #ImACeleb’

Earlier in the episode, as voted for by the British public, Danny and Dean headed down to the Bushtucker Trial area to face ‘The High Street of Horrors’, as Danny jokingly asked Dean: ‘Fancy going shopping?’

Horrified to learn they’d be joining them there, Maura and Richard also headed down to the Trial area for the day’s Bushtucker Trial, not knowing what lay in store.

First to arrive were Maura and Richard. They were greeted by Ant and Dec and asked how they were enjoying the Jungle Junkyard, Maura revealed: ‘We’ve had a lovely time… I’m loving it!’

While Richard joked: ‘I’m really consumed with guilt!’

Ant and Dec explained to the duo that as they successfully got a bed delivered to them from main camp yesterday, they won three portions of food for the junk food buffet.

They were also told that the Trial was their next opportunity to continue the charade, as they had to convince Danny and Dean that they had already taken part in ‘The Deadly Department Store’ to try and win 2 stars for their dinner, but failed.

Maura and Richard both got stuck into the pretence, as they covered one another in feathers and molasses and put on their best acting performance. As Dean and Danny entered, Maura and Richard looked as downcast as the jungle weather, as they shared the news that they had won zero stars.

But that wasn’t all, when asked what they faced in there, Richard panicked and described there were ‘weird Australian birds’, while Ant and Dec tried to keep a straight face.

Ant and Dec then told Dean and Danny what they were due to face in their part of the Trial. There were three shops, each containing a number of stars to win for camp. All they had to do was find them within the time allocated for their shopping spree.

Dean and Danny stopped at the ‘Grim Grocers’ first, where there were three stars on offer and they had three minutes to find them. When the klaxon sounded, an eager Danny was in such a hurry to get into the shop, he tripped over. Plus, Dean had to come face-to-face with his arch nemesis – fish guts.

Winning two stars for camp, they proceeded to the ‘Electrifying Electrical store’ where they picked up a further two stars out of three, within the three minute time slot.

The star they missed was revealed by Ant and Dec to be hiding in the kettle, as they teased Dean: ‘We thought you’d have gone straight for the kettle, we know you love a cup of tea!’

The last stop on their shopping trip was the ‘Sinister Self-Storage’ where they had four minutes to find four stars.

Greeted by the sight of pigeons, Dean said: ‘What in the Trafalgar Square is going on in here?’

Working together, he and Danny picked up a further four stars, meaning they won eight in total.

But there was one more twist to be revealed, as Ant and Dec told Dean and Danny that one of them must go and join Maura and Richard in the Jungle Junkyard, ditching their cosy camp life for one of zero luxury.

Maura and Richard are given the choice and decide on Dean to accompany them, staying in the jungle junkyard until further notice.
