Primark encourages clients to unfold festive cheer with Bring the Joy marketing campaign
Fashion retailer, Primark is donating £250,000 of Christmas gift packs to local charities this year.
The High Street favourite is encouraging shoppers to get involved in their Bring the Joy campaign in a bid to spread positivity in the run up to the festivities.
The website states: “This Christmas at Primark, we’re celebrating the heartwarming moments that make the festive season truly special. Our ’You Bring the Joy’ campaign invites everyone to embrace the joy that comes from thoughtful gestures and moments of connection.
“At Christmas, joy isn’t about how much you spend. Actually, it’s much simpler than that. It’s the small things – the consideration for others, the acts of kindness, the thought you put into finding that perfect gift for someone you love, or for yourself.
“It’s waking up on Christmas morning in matching FamJams, enjoying breakfast in bed. Or decorating the tree together in cozy Christmas jumpers.
“It’s watching a black-and-white Christmas classic in PJs that are Grinch-green, or dancing the night away in a little black dress that says, “I’m here to sparkle.” It’s a knit jumper that’s the gift of ‘cozy’ or a face mask for a friend that’s the gift of ‘me time’.
“It’s about feeling the joy, and bringing the joy.
“Most importantly, it’s thinking of those around you. It’s about coming together as a community, and helping make someone’s holiday brighter.”
The website adds: “That’s why, we’re donating £250,000 worth of Christmas gift packs to local charities in the communities where we have stores.
“Each of our stores has partnered with a local charity to donate much needed products and in selected stores our teams are inviting customers to join them and help spread even more joy.
“Customers can get involved and choose to buy and donate their own Christmas gift packs to the store’s chosen charity.
“And then, the simple joys: the conversations at the till about your holiday plans, a friendly smile, or a helping hand when you’re picking out that special gift or party outfit. Our team is here to make sure your holiday season is a special one.
“We all experience joy in our own way at Christmas. But, however you do joy this holiday season, we’re here for you.”
