Leicester City sack Steve Cooper after newest Premier League embarrassment

Leicester City have sacked Steve Cooper.

The Foxes were tamed by Chelsea on Saturday, and it was the final straw for the chiefs at the King Power Stadium. In a statement, Leicester said: “Leicester City Football Club has parted company with Steve Cooper, who leaves his position as First Team Manager with immediate effect.

“Assistant Manager Alan Tate and First Team Coach and Analyst Steve Rands have also left the Club. Steve, Alan and Steve depart with our thanks for their contribution during their time with the Club and with our best wishes for the future.

“Leicester made the right decision by sacking Steve Cooper. He was never a good option to consider,” a third pointed out. And another added: “There’s the first relegation rival that’s acted before us. Moyes or Potter in at Leicester then FFS…”
